What an honor it is to work on a home designed by the master of Louisiana Architecture, A. Hays Town. These homes have an incredible sense of place and developing outdoor spaces to reflect that timeless character is certainly a challenge.

This project was particularly challenging because it was a completely blank canvas. It offered immense opportunity, but finding the proper balance was difficult. With antique New Orleans Hard Tan brick and Natural Cleft Flagstone as the paving materials around the new pool and antique New Orleans Red brick on the pool planters, the hardscape materials we chose blended what was new with what was old.

Accompanied with traditional southern plant materials, antique sugar kettles, and proper landscape lighting, the end result is simply stunning.
